Size: 10 - 15 cm

Max Adult Size: 15 - 20cm 
Temperature Range: 23 – 27 C
PH Range: 6.5 – 7.5
Diet: Grazes on the biofilm and algae around the aquarium, but also very much enjoys meaty foods as a treat, such as any flakes or pellets their tankmates are having, and especially frozen foods like daphnia. 
We'd recommend mostly algae wafers, finely crushed veggie/algae based flakes, Pleco Pops, Repashy Soilent / Super Green gel foods, and frozen foods.
They will however be quite happy to take a variety of prepared foods. As a treat, they enjoy green vegetables like courgette.
Habitat: Ideally suited to a tank with good flow, a soft substrate and plenty of vegetation and other organic structures. They like flat surfaces, a few well placed pieces of slate right where the filter flow is strongest are best to encourage them to hang out where you can see them. They also enjoy leaf litter, seed pods etc. They breed on flat surfaces such as on the glass.
