Size: 8-10cm+ Adults

As these aren't in breeding season and still new they're not currently accurately sexable, however we can make an educated guess based on body shape, vent etc. Mature males should look very hairy especially down the tail. Please send us a message or leave a checkout note on your order if you have a preference. 

Adult Size: 8-10cm+

Temperature: 22 - 30°C, around 26-27°C works well. 

Diet: Frozen and live foods, flakes, sinking pellets and granules 

Habitat: Easy to please and very personable - although we have found their best colours come out in a dimly lit aquarium that is lightly tanned with bogwood etc. In very brightly lit well planted tanks they can bleach out a bit and be more of a yellowish/pink colour. 

They like plenty of low cover towards the front of the aquarium so they can quickly duck into a hiding space if they need to - this is the key to ensuring they are comfortable.
