Phalloceros Caudimaculatus "Dusky Millions"

Captive Bred - Czechia

Size: 2-3cm+ 

Adult Size: 4-5cm+

Temperature: 18 - 28°C

Diet: Frozen and live foods, flakes and granules 

Habitat: Aside from needing a good amount of minerals in the water to really do well and not really liking too much flow, they're generally easy to please and their care isn't far off Guppies and Platies.

The only consideration is their small size and slower pace mean they don't do well around predatory fish and may even get picked off by things like Bettas and Mollies. For something faster, we have Celestial Pearl Danios which are another stunning Nano fish. 

They get a beautiful golden-yellow colour to them which we think would look stunning in a dutch-style aquarium with lots of pink/red plants, or another showpiece display tank. 

They are mostly algivorous in the wild and we have been feeding them mostly high-algae gel foods like our Plecos. 

The fry are VERY small and do best with lots of floating cover, high flow with no areas of respite can stop new ones growing out.
